Kibbutz Yahel (Hebrew: יַהֵל) is a Reform kibbutz in southern Israel. Located in the Arabah region of the Negev desert, 60 kilometers from the city of Eilat, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hevel Eilot Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 267. [1] The name is symbolic and means: "it shone (shined)".

Kibbutz Yahel is located in the southern Arava, about 65Km north of Eilat. Yahel is the northern most outpost of the ten kibbutzim that make up the Hevel Eilot regional council, the municipality for shared cultural and economic activity.

Established in 1977, Kibbutz Yahel, was the first kibbutz founded by the Israel Reform Movement. At Kibbutz Yahel, the first kibbutz founded by the Progressive (Reform) movement, young volunteers from around the world are invited to participate in the harvesting of melons, pomelos, peppers and spring onions between May and September.

The Kibbutz Yahel Country Inn has 43 double and family rooms, suitable for independent travelers or organized groups. All are ground-floor guest rooms and each have a private sitting area in the yard, lawns surrounding the rooms and barbecues for guest use. The rooms are cozy and well equipped to accommodate four guests each.

Kibbutz Yahel in the Southern Arava is located about 70 km north of Eilat, and about 2 km west of the Jordanian border. The kibbutz integrates Judaism and environmental awareness, to create an ecologically sustainable community committed to maintaining the delicate balance between developing and preserving the fragile desert environment.
