2020年4月13日 · I woke up this morning and went to use my computer first thing, and all of a sudden, it is making clicking sounds when I type. I have found two resources stating a way to resolve the issue, one of which was at this forum, but neither have worked to resolve the issue. This is very aggravating, so any assistance is greatly appreciated!

2018年2月3日 · Press Windows key, type keyboard and select Ease of Access keyboard settings. Under Toggle keys, turn off Hear a tone when you press Caps Lock, Num Lock, and Scroll Lock. There are windows like gongs that come from the computer when you press the first 2 letters on the on screen keyboard and the rest is silent. If you close the keyboard and start again the same gongs or sounds occur. If you mute the windows system sounds the keyboard sounds go away also.

2015年11月7日 · Eeshwar, thank you for bringing this setting to our attention. I checked, and it was either already off by default or I had turned it off at some point and forgotten about it. It certainly seems like the logical solution but I was still hearing a soft but annoying alert sound. It was audible only through headphones.
