Professor Ke Lu (B. Sc. in materials science and engineering, Nanjing University of Science & Technology, 1985; PhD in MSE, Institute of metal Research of CAS, 1990) is the President of the Liaoning Academy of Materials and a professor of the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Ke Lu received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science, Northwest University, Xi’an, China, in 2003. He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, from 2003 to 2005. He is currently a Professor with the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing.
