Kalfu is one of the Loa, the twin of Legba and god of the night. Some Vodou practitioners think Legba and Kalfu are the same god, and indeed, they look and dress almost exactly alike. They are always apart but never far away from each others, appearing on the opposite corners of a crossroads and the opposite sides of doors.
