Kaladin is one of the main protagonists in The Stormlight Archive. An accomplished spearman and a natural leader, he eventually becomes the captain of Elhokar Kholin 's King's Guard, formerly known as the Cobalt Guard, House Kholin 's personal honor guard. [3]

Kaladin is captured by Sah along his way back to Dalinar. Though he frees himself from his bonds, he stays with the group of singers and teaches them how to survive while on the run. In so doing, he forms a particular friendship with Sah.

His hoid scene, him discovering therapy, Odium's manipulation, his struggles, and the chapter he finally says the 4th oath - that one made me tear up. I'm just sad that I think (even if I'm wrong) he'll be stepping back because his character growth is complete.
