Kafr (1,7,7-trimethylbicyklo [2.2.1]heptan-2-on) je přírodní látka získávaná původně ze dřeva stromu kafrovníku (Cinnamomum camphora). Je obsažen také v bornejském stromu Dryobalanops aromatica, v silici bazalky, rozmarýny lékařské, šalvěje lékařské, v mrkvi atd. V současnosti se vyrábí i synteticky. 2017年2月11日 · Mukaffar is the passive participle of كَفَّرَ and used to describe a bird covered with feathers. Since its original meaning is to cover, the term Kāfir (كافِر), in pre-Is­lamic times, was also used to denote a sower or a tiller of the ground – because he covers the seed with earth.

Now, Kafara (whose root is K-F-R), is just such a word with many meanings, and some of its meanings come out of the Quranic usage of them. One of its original meanings is "to cover up", or the "the farmer who sows seeds" (i.e. covers seeds up).
