9x13" cornbread? | Discuss Cooking - Cooking Forums
2011年2月14日 · They call for a 1:1 cornmeal to flour ratio, but I prefer 2:1, so I use 1 1/3 c cornmeal to 2/3 c flour. But this is the original recipe, which is for an 8x8 pan (a 9x9 pan can be used, for a thinner bread). I would always double it, and bake in a 9x13 pan. 1 c unbleached flour 1 c cornbread 4 tsp baking powder 3/4 tsp salt

2022年9月24日 · Is the bottom of the pan just a single layer of SS? If so, it's not a great pan for cooking delicate items such as eggs. Look for a SS pan that either has a disk on the bottom that includes a layer of copper or alum. OR a fully clad pan where the entire pan is made of a three layer sandwich of alum or copper between layers of SS.
How do you cook fresh polish sausage? - Discuss Cooking
2006年7月18日 · What we do is put the sausages in a frying pan with a quarter to half inch of water, cover and let simmer/low boil for half an hour or so. Then we take off the cover, turn up the heat a tad, and let the water evaporate. Then let the sausages brown. This was the way a former roomies grandmother from Poland make them, and they always turned out fine.
