Hey guys i have a 2009 ktm 530 exc, bike has 7500 miles and 190 hours, bike is often hard to start and sometimes starts on first kick?? wont start with electric start. It gets really hard to start almost impossible when warm, and during full throttle bike bogs really bad, also headlights and tail lights wont work.

2010年9月9日 · I just bought this new 09 530 exc to do the Baja 1000 in nov. I'm thinking maybe leaving the stock gearing for down there, the motor seems to purrrr along at 75- 80 and change the gearing to a 14-50 for colorado single track

2013年3月7日 · Yup I also have the KTM hard parts rad guards, they to have served me well! Front and rear brake rotor protection is a good idea as well. Front and rear brake rotor protection is a good idea as well. The flatlands racing front guard is hands down the best out there.

2012年4月3日 · Not that the ktm cant be made for street. Depends on all what you are looking for. For woods, ktm. Street, dual sport, adventure riding, drz would get the nod in my book. Others opinions may differ. Drz does not have the power of the ktm and weighs about 40 lbs more. Good luck. Have fun riding.

2014年3月29日 · KTM is the only bike to come with so many mulitport injector holes. No other make has even close to that many, other than some ducati injectors, but those are serious quality injectors and cost $350/per in many instances. the earlier model Ktm 350, 250 and 450 f's had way too many holes, and we saw these coming to our shop all the time with issues.

2009年12月11日 · New 530 XC-W with 13/50.....little low for street so may swap to 14/50 for now....rear sprocket's too new and pretty for changing just yet....like the idea of 13/14:48 though....good flexibility Link to comment
