2023年4月9日 · In regards to adding a sub or upgrading to 8" monitors. Here's my $0.02. I think the the 5" monitors + a sub is the best setup for nearfield monitoring. Your 5" monitors act as the highs+mids while the sub is your lows. The most used crossover frequency is 80hz, and any of the monitors mentioned will do just fine down to there.

2021年9月5日 · The KRK's also have a screen on the back with a parametric EQ, and an app that can measure your room, so you can adjust the EQ to get the most accurate response based on your room. Another thing to look at is the frequency response. The KRK's and JBL's both go as low as 43hz, which is great for 5" speakers. Many other monitors don't go this low.

Fast forward a week later, I get my delivery and to my surprise I got sent KRK Classic 5 g3 I knew Rokit 5 G3's were discontinued but figured this Amazon Seller had some in back stock and that's why I ordered it.
