Vice has had a total of three different fighting stances found in KOF '96, KOF '98 and KOF 2002/2002UM. Starting with The King of Fighters XIII, she returned to her original ’96 stance for all of her future appearances. In the Neo Geo Freak's 1997 Volume 8 character poll, she was voted as the thirteenth favorite character with a total of 780 votes.

Like Mature, Vice was once one of the Hakkesshu—loyal followers who sought to revive the dreaded Orochi. Her frail stature masks a decidedly violent ruthlessness, which comes to the fore in the way she fights: unbridled strength and brutal throws. Vice is intrigued by Iori Yagami, who carries Orochi blood in his veins.

After Rugal died at the end of the KOF '95 from being unable to contain the Orochi power, Vice joined forces with fellow Hakkesshu member Mature to serve Orochi. Their duties were switched to keeping an eye on Iori Yagami instead, due to his Yagami heritage of the Orochi power.
