2015年2月11日 · The R300 have great scale for a standmount, but all that bass needs an amp with a vice like grip (which isn't cheap) and enough room to breathe. Only you can decide if the Elex provides enough control, though using the 2 part bung greatly helps to tame the bass.

2012年5月29日 · To be honest, I haven't heard the new R Series yet, including the R300, but if their treble reminds KEF's XQ Series, they will not sound natural with amplifiers like Rotel and Cambridge Audio. Anyway, you are currently using B&W 685 which is not a perfect match for Rotel 1520 (at least for my taste).

2012年9月10日 · The R300's reach deeper with regards to bass, which is helped by its cabinet volume and dedicated bass driver. They're larger in scale which is to be expected really as they are a larger speaker than the DB1i's.

2014年3月16日 · I own the B&W 685 S2 for some time now and i have tested the KEF R300 in my own setup. All i can say is that in my setup/room the B&W 685 S2 sounds better than the KEF R300. The B&W sounds more open, has more detail and is more agile. The bass is also tighter and has more punch.
