2017年11月13日 · The Q100 has been measured -3db at 49 hz and -6db at 45 hz -- they seem to work well with a 1st order crossover on the woofer and tweeter, which speaks of good drivers.

2018年12月5日 · I don't remember if this was mentioned yet in the thread, but the one thing I really miss about the Q100's is the wide and detailed imaging. Many of the small-ish bookshelf speakers I auditioned had excellent sq, but none matched the KEF imaging - maybe it's the UniQ concentric driver? Curious how the imaging of the Q150 compares to the Q100?

2017年10月29日 · Just a quick update... I went with the KEF Q300's for the L/R - and have ordered the Q200 for the center. I briefly thought about just doing Q100's - but decided that for the $100 difference (Amazon), it was a pretty simple decision to go 300's. The Q300's got here yesterday and I installed them this morning. So far, I really like them.

2019年12月17日 · Hello All, Upgrading my center to Q600C and have front Q100's right now. Looking for bigger soundstage (have a sub and Denon x2400H) for music. Does anyone have an opinion on upgrading? The bookshelves are against the wall; front or rear port matter? Thx!

2017年12月16日 · I’m looking for suggestions for a basic, inexpensive 2 channel stereo for a pair of 100W 8ohm KEF Q100’s. I have an old JVC CD player/radio/amplifier rated for 28W that I’ve tried to power them with, but they’re very treble heavy and the bass is missing.

2016年10月4日 · You'll get better bass extention with the Q300 and better detail with the Q100. If you're adding a sub, extra bass won't matter since you're crossover will be at 80hz. I personally prefer the 100 to the 300 for better imaging and clarity. Your best bet would be to audition both if possible and get the one you prefer. This is based on my personal observations and opinion.

2010年9月15日 · KEF says the Q100 is ideal as a 'mini monitor' for stereo music playback, or as rear effects speakers in a home cinema set-up. The Q300 is designed as a larger hi-fi speaker, a front speaker in smaller home cinema systems or a rear speaker in larger ones.
