Best Receiver for a pair of KEF C35s? - Audioholics Home Theater …
2006年4月8日 · I have an old pair of KEF C35 bookshelf speakers. I want to use it to liven up the sound to my DVD player, but I do not want to go the surround sound route. I merely want good quality stereo sound. Which receiver would give me the warmest sound: 1) Denon 685 2) Marantz SR4320 The room is small sized, but the speaker is 6 ohm, I think. Maybe 4.
Where to go from here??? Buried in B&K, Yamaha, McIntosh
2017年6月21日 · My mains are a pair of KEF C35's -- I was initially using my Totem Model 1's, but ended up putting those in my studio for secondary reference purposes. So now this guy drops his old McIntosh stuff on me... an MC58 eight channel amp and a CR16 multizone control center as well as a 5 CD changer and AM/FM tuner.
KEF Reference Meta & Perlisten comparison - Audioholics Home …
2023年10月3日 · Perlisten offers on-wall models for surrounds and enclosed ceiling speakers. If I want to stay with KEF, I can wall mount an R8 Meta easily or use the R2/R6 Meta as a surround. KEF has nice in-ceiling speakers, but all are open back, so sound leakage is a concern. We're in a high rise condo with concrete ceilings/floors.
Kef Iq7 - Audioholics Home Theater Forums
2009年2月25日 · One reviewer suggested that Kef overcame this issue by designing a “2 ½” way speaker. Built into a larger cabinet for added bass extension, the woofer covers all bass frequencies up to 250hz and then crosses over to the UniQ array, alleviating the lowest frequencies & easing up the duty of the UniQ driver.
KEF Owner's Thread - Audioholics Home Theater Forums
2014年7月22日 · If strong rigid curved cabinets make a huge difference in reducing resonance (Revel Salon2, KEF 201/2, B&W 800D2, TAD R1, etc.) and improving sound quality, I just don't understand why KEF would make the new Reference line so boxy! And did they decrease cost? The new KEF Reference bookshelf is now $7,500 vs. $6,000 on the KEF 201/2.

2021年4月10日 · Yup, if going up against KEF R3s I'd think you'd want to move up to the Founder series. KEF's R series are reportedly very good speakers. I'd take a higher quality bookshelf for the same money as a tower from a lower series if using with a sub or 3.
