KD Tunku Abdul Rahman adalah kapal selam pertama negara Malaysia. Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia membeli dua kapal selam Scorpene dengan kos RM3.4 bilion. Ia dibina di pelabuhan Toulon, Perancis dan Cartagena, Sepanyol. Dilancar pada 23 Oktober 2007, ia tiba di Malaysia pada 3 September 2009.

KD Tunku Abdul Rahman is a Scorpène-class submarine built for the Royal Malaysian Navy by Naval Group, formerly known as DCNS in Cherbourg, France and Navantia in Cartagena, Spain.

Based on the pictures taken by the RMN during the visit of its chief, Admiral Ahmad Kamarulzaman Badaruddin, it is an extensive one though nothing official has been announced on the things to be replaced on the submarine.

2018年4月11日 · RMN’s flagship, KD Lekiu is to participate in RIMPAC 2018, the world’s largest maritime exercise. The biennial exercise is held between June and July of even numbered years out of Honolulu, Hawaii. Lekiu’s involvement in RIMPAC 2018 was revealed by the U.S Navy in a release that said the frigate had been refueled at sea by the latter’s tanker.
