KCWI Home Page - W. M. Keck Observatory
KCWI is a bench-mounted spectrograph installed at the Keck II right Nasmyth focal station. KCWI provdes visible band (350-1050 nm), seeing-limited integral field spectroscopy with moderate to high spectral resolution, with a configurable FOV and image resolution formats.
KCWI-TV - Wikipedia
KCWI-TV (channel 23) is a television station licensed to Ames, Iowa, United States, serving as the CW affiliate for the Des Moines area. It is owned by Tegna Inc. alongside ABC affiliate WOI-DT (channel 5), also licensed to Ames.
KCWI – W. M. Keck Observatory
KCWI can do both imaging and spectroscopy in a single observation, recording an image of an object at multiple wavelengths. This allows scientists to study both the spatial dimension of the image and the spectral dimension, or color, of an object.
KCWI Overview
The Keck Cosmic Web Imager (KCWI) is a wide field, seeing limited, integral field spectrograph (IFS) optimized for precision sky limited spectroscopy of low surface brightness phenomena. KCWI features high throughput and flexibility in field of view (FOV), spatial sampling, bandpass, and spectral resolution.

The Keck Cosmic Reionization Mapper (KCRM) is bringing KCWI to its full potential by adding a red spectrograph arm that is used simultaneously with the blue spectrograph arm; they share the same field of view and use the same slicer. The red spectrograph has 7 red gratings (1 low, 2 medium, and 4 high dispersion).
The Keck Cosmic Reionization Mapper - W. M. Keck Observatory
2017年12月14日 · The red channel of KCWI is called the Keck Cosmic Reionization Mapper (KCRM) and the combination of KCWI-Blue and KCRM will provide simultaneous high efficiency spectral coverage across the entire visible spectrum.
