KCOP-TV (channel 13), branded Fox 11 Plus, is a television station in Los Angeles, California, United States, serving as the West Coast flagship station of MyNetworkTV. It is owned and operated by Fox Television Stations alongside Fox outlet KTTV (channel 11).

Owned by Fox Television Stations, a division of the News Corporation, KCOP is a sister station to Fox network outlet KTTV (channel 11), and was formerly affiliated with the UPN programming service. The two stations share studio facilities in West Los Angeles, and KCOP's transmitter is located on Mount Wilson.

KCOP's last logo as a UPN affiliate. In 2004, it would be accompanied by the slogan "Get it On". Following the announcement of the shut down of UPN (whose programming would be merged with The WB to form The CW), all Fox-owned UPN stations, including KCOP, dropped the UPN name and logo from their on-air branding.

On December 31, 2005, UPN was kept by CBS Corporation, which was the new name for Viacom when it split into two separate companies. On January 24, 2006, CBS Corporation and Time Warner jointly announced that the companies would shut down UPN and competitor The WB to launch a new joint venture network later that year. [1] .

It was operated as an independent station until 1995, when it got served as UPN 's West Coast flagship station.

KCOP became the network's Los Angeles station, which debuted on January 16, 1995 (this made channel 13 a UPN owned-and-operated station through Chris-Craft's ownership of the network – later part-ownership once Viacom bought 50% of UPN from Chris-Craft in 1996). At the network's launch, KCOP served as UPN's West Coast "flagship" station.

KCOP is a local, independent television station (Channel 13 in Los Angeles), which signed on with the UPN (United Paramount Network). Its modest studio is located in the heart of Hollywood, on La Brea Avenue, about half a mile south of the old Charlie Chaplin Studios. Channel 13 first began broadcasting over 50 years ago, in 1948, as KLAC-TV.

UPN Affiliation. In 1995, Chris-Craft and its subsidiary, United Television, partnered with Paramount Pictures to form the United Paramount Network. KCOP became the network's Los Angeles station on January 16, 1995, the day the network was launched.
