ROAD KERB is designed to be used as a traffic island for channeling traffic, and serves as a raised pavement for safety purposes, to prevent motorists from driving onto the pavement. It is also used for visual delineation and provision of drainage.

All precast concrete kerb shall be C20/25 concrete. For kerb at curve and corner of radius less than 15m, the precast kerb shall be formed at curve of the same radius. All kerb foundation shall be C16/20. Gratings and frames are to be shop fabricated. All M.S. flats and plates are to be fillet welded throughout.
