Junko always blames Hachi when men screw her over, like Shouji cheating on her was apparently Hachis fault... the advice she gave seemed so rude and she always picked the guys ...

but i feel like some people just don’t like being uncomfortable or consuming media critically. they’d rather HC junko/kyosuke as biracial than confront the the fact that NANA (and ParaKiss) is reflective of its time (and japanese culture), as shown by the romanticization a lot of deeply problematic things that were “accepted” back then ...
