2021年8月17日 · To be fair it was ok compared to my previous Yamaha DTX set but I can confirm the Krigg is almost silent, no whump type sound now. I had to put a small felt pad on the contact point as there was a bit of rebound that seemed to create a false trigger but now it’s fine.

For what this product is, it's very well accomplished, a simple design that does what's required effectively and efficiently. I took a chance on these to replace the need for a new kick drum and I was pleasantly surprised how well the triggers hold up and stay put under heavy performance.

It's super sensitive (almost too sensitive), works great with my Roland module and it's much quieter than the rubber pad + Drum-tec Sound Absorver beater. I was considering buying a KD-9 or KD-10 to have a quieter practice set, but I don't think KDs would be more quiet than the Krigg. Looks interesting.

*Kick pedal not included, the last picture simply shows how the trigger is mounted! This nifty little kick trigger from a smaller e-drum company called Triggera mounts to your kick drum pedal. You can order one new direct from the manufacturer for €53 ($60), plus €18 for international shipping (an additional $20 or so, or $80 total).
