Jules Yimga is a Fulbright U.S. Scholar, an associate professor of Economics, and the chair of the College of Business. Jules received his Ph.D. in Economics from Kansas State University, his M.Sc. in Business Administration (MBA) from Alabama A&M University, and his B.Sc. in Banking and Finance from the University of Buea in Cameroon.

From 1930 to 1974, he was pastor of Our Lady of Seven Dolors in Welch. He was made monsignor in 1952. After retiring in 1974, he launched a writing career and wrote several books on the Cajun heritage, receiving international recognition for his work.
