Joy is a Japanese Hacker, the twenty-second playable character released for PAYDAY 2, and the fifth playable character released for PAYDAY 3 alongside Pearl. Previously exclusive to the Nintendo Switch release of PAYDAY 2, Joy was released as a free character to the PC editions of the game as part of operation ICEBREAKER on August 13th, 2018.

This mod ports PAYDAY 3 Joy over PAYDAY 2's Joy with care, comes with my own pair of enhancements too that are not in PAYDAY 3. It should work on Linux as well. You can expect from this port to feature things such as: Mask Support with all masks (Yes, all of them.)

Ports Joy's voicelines from PD3 to PD2 with help of this template. Currently included: AI Comments. Callouts. An item denoted with asterisk requires Beardlib to function. If I missed something or there is a problem with voicelines, let me know in the comments. There are a lot of lines, so it will take a while to replace everything. Currently none.

Many of Joy's voicelines for special units are references to different comic book and anime characters. She calls zappers "Electro", referencing not only her PAYDAY 2 voiceline, but also the Spider-Man villain and member of the Sinister Six.
