They are often sent on A-rank missions, and experienced jōnin may even be sent on S-rank missions (which are considered to be the greatest difficulty). It is not unusual for jōnin to go on missions alone.

While watching "funny Boruto moments" on YouTube, I came across a scene where Naruto tells Iwabe and his team, that he is still a Genin, but he is a Hokage. In the starting episodes of Naruto, it is shown that Hokage is a rank above Jonin, so I want some clarification on why he could skip all the ranks and land at Hokage.

2016年6月2日 · No Naruto never becomes chunin in the series nor is he ever chunin. After the war and Kakashi becomes hokage, Naruto studies to become straight to jonin (anime) bypassing the chunin stage. It obviously makes sense that Naruto never becomes chunin as he is well over jonin level by the end.
