2024年8月1日 · I have recently acquired a 1960s (Norwegian)Kombi Jolle Lug rigged dinghy. The boat has a rigging design I have not seen before. The lower boom is not lashed alongside the mast but is inserted through the mast with a couple of inches protruding at the front. The foot of the sail obviously cannot extend in front of the mast.

Referred to here is the LIS Dinghy (Jolle) though it actually has a small low cuddy containing 2 berths. LIS-JOLLENKREUZER’ in 1967, has a small cabin (with 2 berths and a table). With the LIS-FAMILY, the hull was widened slightly with a longer larger cabin and shorter cockpit. The cockpit became self bailinng in 1978.

2011年10月4日 · I started to built the rudder. I plan to make the brakes workable. One servo for each side. That should be very interesting sailing. I got now 14 planks on. It is slow. The planks are 2 meters long, around 6'6", 5 mm wide and 3 mm thick. The length is a challenge. I love the texture of the Redwood, there is so much colour and tone in it.
