Jing Hao (Chinese: 荆浩; Wade–Giles: Ching Hao, also known as Hongguzi) (c. 855–915) [1] was a Chinese landscape painter and art theorist of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period in Northern China.

Jing Hao (flourished 910–950, Qinshui, Shanxi province, China) was an important landscape painter and essayist of the Five Dynasties (907–960) period. Jing spent much of his life in retirement as a farmer in the Taihang Mountains of Shanxi province.

He lived during the late Tang dynasty (618 – 907 AD) and the early Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period (907 – 979 AD) (often called the Five Dynasties period for short). He worked as a painter for the short-lived Liang dynasty (907 – 923).
