2023年6月29日 · I am building my first Jeep TJ and I'm not sure which Dana 44 front axle I should use. I have a Ford 8.8 for the rear already. There is a guy in my area that has a Dana 44 front axle out of a 99 F-250. Its a 4.10 limited slip. I'm not sure if this is the right fit. I know that it originally had leaf springs that were removed.

2013年4月11日 · The front Dana 44 Is a High Pinion/Reverse spiral design that puts the pinion above the axle centerline. The Dana 44 pinion is also longer than the factory Dana 30 in our WJs. The combination of the high pinion (reduced driveshaft angle) and long pinion necessitates a shortening of the front driveshaft.

2010年4月4日 · For a driver side drop waggy narrow track front dana 44 axle you would want an 80-81 or an 85-92. All these would be low pinion. The 82-84 front waggy dana 44 axles have a vacuum disconnect inside the pumpkin that you would not want. The wheel pattern for a waggy axle is 6 on 5.5" which can be fairly easily changed to 5 on 5.5".
