All 3.6 JKs use the non PUG (Pentastar Upgrade) and it wasn't until 2018 when the JLs were released that they updated the Wrangler engine. 2021年10月6日 · The Jeep is still throwing P0016, P0017 and P0019 with the Traction Control light on. I hooked up OBD JScan and tested the wheel speed sensors, they are all reporting properly. I also pulled up the cam shafts (desired vs. actual position) and the passenger side exhaust desired position was 170, it measured 170.9. All others were on the mark.

2019年8月20日 · It was as diagnosed. Bearing on the #5 cylinder cam follower went bad. Out of warranty so had to pay out of pocket - $1270.00 for new camshaft and cam followers on all 3 cylinders on the passenger side. However, on a long shot, I reached out via DM to the Jeep customer service crew who I see here on the forum replying to various threads.

2023年1月12日 · The 3.6 is a reliable motor, save for a few catches. The things to watch for are the rocker arms, for the needle bearing post in them can wear down, which will cause an audible ticking noise, and when left unchecked it can take out the cam lobe on the camshaft.
