Javanrud (Persian: جوانرود) [a] is a city in the Central District of Javanrud County, Kermanshah province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. [4] . The city is 79 kilometers north of Kermanshah and is 1,300 meters above sea level. [5]
