2022年8月8日 · They've been out of production for a while, but we had a speaker blow-out test in 2010, and of the smaller JBL speakers, the L1 did better than the (even older) L20T. If you find a pair for a reasonable price, it's hard to go wrong with them.

2011年3月7日 · Love the L1! As close to a full range speaker as a bookshelf can get IMHO. Very dynamic with punchy bass, great mid-range and dynamic highs. I think I had a pair of L1's longer than any speaker I have ever owned.:yes: My buddy has my last pair. I let him borrow them as I recall and can't seem to get them back.:scratch2:

2012年8月23日 · The L1 performs far beyond anyone's expectations. I would personally consider it a crime to part a pair out . . . unless the purpose was to save an L5 or L7. Part all the L3s you want, but leave the little guy alone.

The L Series consisted of four models, the two-way L1, two-way L3, four-way L5, and four-way L7, with the L7 being the high end speaker. At the end of its model run, the L7 sold for $1000/ea., the L5 for $690/ea., the L3 for $470/ea., and the L1 for $320/ea. in mid 1990s dollars.

2011年7月24日 · The L1 uses the 6.5-inch 706G-1 where the L3 uses the 8-inch 708G-1. The L5 uses one of each and is an honest 4-way system without the tendency the L3 has of blowing the surround on the 708G-1. In my opinion, the L7 gets a bad rap for its placement problems.

2007年3月19日 · We stopped to browse and I found a nice pair of JBL L1's. These little 2 ways are very impressive! They sound very much like my L250's (in the garage). Heavy little buggers. I hooked them up to my Yamaha M80/C70 combo. The L1 will handle quite a bit of power, and will only signal distress when pushed abnormally hard.

2020年10月1日 · Only managed to acquire 3 pairs of jbl over the years. All 2 way, the l1's, first pair $50. dont remember what the other pair was but just remember I wasnt impressed and let them go pretty cheap, think I only paid around $40 for them. The other pair are dinky l500 I think, but the woofers need new surrounds.
