2013年2月23日 · The 128H in my L150s and the 2214H in my L100Ts both measure at 9 5/8", but the 128H-1 in my 4412 measures at 9 3/8". I thought I had read before that the 2214H was a slightly larger diameter than the 128H, but I didn't expect the 128H and the 128H-1 cones to be different diameter from each other.

2016年8月18日 · JBL 4412 is a very interesting choice to be the center channel speaker for JBL 120Ti mains, since they should sound the same (well at least their frequency response curves are very similar to each other). Moreover, 4412's are supposed to be oriented horizontally, so it would sit nicely above my computer monitor (my desk is against the wall).

2004年4月14日 · The 4412's sound best, IMHO, when they're pointed within 15 degrees of the listening position, mounted horizontally with the tweeters on top, and high enough off the floor, (at least 28"-29"). You won't get the upper octave off-axis much past about 30 degrees, because they were meant to be heard head-on, as in a studio setting.

2015年1月6日 · My main system (non-JBL ) uses a 3-way active crossover. I was considering trying the active crossovers on the 4412 on those occasions I listen to them. The passive crossover in the 4412 would be completely bypassed and the wires from the drive units would be hooked up to a new terminal block with separate HF, MF, LF.

2011年4月25日 · The 4410s sound much more like a regular consumer model JBL, when compared to the 4412. The 4412s are rated for 150 watts, and to really get the most out of them a 200 w.p.c. amp does best, like Zilch said the 4410 and 4412 will play (stupid loud) after listening to them, its not hard to understand why they were Zilchs' favorite studio monitors.

2010年6月16日 · I own both the JBL 4312 and the 4425. I must say that I was stunned at how unbelievably accurate and precise the 4412s are. Incredible imaging and soundstage, I might go as far to say that I like the 4412s over the 4425s at this point.

I spent at least what you did on replacement tweeter diaphragms, not to mention the new grilles that JBL still had in stock for some reason, although when they arrived they said 4412 on the front. 2020年5月18日 · Anyhow, so I just picked up a pair of JBL 4412 monitors and the foam surrounds on them is dry rotting, otherwise they are in great shape. I don’t want to try and do this myself but rather looking to send the woofers off to have them reconed and checked out by a good shop who is experienced in this.
