2011年1月23日 · From what I have read, one of JBL's better "Bookshelf" speakers, not as bright as some of the other offerings from what some have mentioned. Any current or past owners please chime in. Other than the dimple on one of the midrange dustcaps, the cabinets are perfect, even the bottoms. grills are an egg-crate black color.

2014年3月2日 · These speakers (which I own a pair & love) are very similar to, and compare favorably to other similar iconic JBL's such as the L-100 or 4311/4312's. They are however going to sound much different than the AR's. This probably falls into the "East Coast/West Coast" thing.

2024年7月6日 · JBL L-166 Speakers - The Speaker Exchange, Tampa, FL. re-coned the woofers last Year. These are all original except for the re-coning with original parts JBL 122A AMRK Woofers. These JBL's were ordered with the L-166 066 tweeter that extends the frequency range giving more refined air, space and decay of the music.

2021年2月7日 · Cabinet condition is important, but minor problems can be repaired. Grilles are not replaceable nor properly repairable, those egg-carton grilles are unique and one of the things I like. Be sure that the correct woofers are in them, very hard to find, and in good condition.
