Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk (born 31 October 1986), better known as Iyanya, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Calabar, he rose to fame after winning the first season of Project Fame West Africa. [2][3] In 2009, Iyanya released his debut studio album My Story, which was supported by the singles "No Time" and "Love Truly".

The first form of the Sang pronoun is used when the pronoun is before the verb or noun it's attached to. The second form is used when the pronoun is after it's verb or noun. To illustrate, if you wanted to say "his shoes," you would say "Ang iya sepatos," or you could say, "Ang sepatos niya." Nakon is always shortened to "ko."

"Ya" is the informal/shorter version of "Iya" :) both means "yes" or "ok" For example: "Apakah kamu suka es krim?" (Do you like ice cream?) "Iya, saya suka" (formal) "Ya, aku suka" (less formal)
