The Islamic Consultative Assembly (Persian: مجلس شورای اسلامی, romanized: Majles-e Shurâ-ye Eslâmi), also called the Iranian Parliament, the Iranian Majles (Arabicised spelling Majlis) or ICA, is the unicameral national legislative body of Iran.

Baharestan (Persian: بَهارِستان) is the name given to the historic Iranian parliament building, inaugurated in 1906 (see Persian Constitutional Revolution). It was adopted from the name of the neighborhood and a small palace that adorned the place.

The National Consultative Assembly of Iran, also called The Iranian Parliament or People's House, is the national legislative body of Iran. The Parliament has 290 representatives. There were 272 seats since the 18 February 2000 election .

Any other place decided for the purpose will be on the proposal of the Steering Board and the Yes votes of two third of the Parliament representativesattending the official session.
