Ok Intel CEO said it back in September 2013, but then they quickly changed their mind @ DC IDF march 2014, saying nope no DevilsCanyon for Z87 and well know now that's not true. Both platforms use PCH Z87 as base, Z97 has only few extras in IMEI, nothing serious that it won't make Z87 BD compatible.

And i think their "normal" CPUs for laptops and desktops are going to have the RAM separated from the CPU, like they have always done.
