The purpose of this ministry is to visit and minister to the sick, shut-in members and their families. Visitations are made to nursing homes, hospitals and homes. The Deacons and Deaconess of the church serve “The Lord’s Supper” monthly to all sick and shut-in unless requested not to do so by the individual or family member who is ...

Minister to those in distress. Visit the sick and shut in; members at home, in the hospital and/ or nursing homes. Visit and support bereaved members. Provide benevolence and Boost Up boxes to those in need. Continual Care to the members of the congregation and community. The Deaconess Ministry sponsors a Family Plan.

We aid the Pastor and Deacons in areas so designated by them such as preparation of Communion, Baptism, Visiting the sick and shut-in, counseling, mentoring women, and evangelism. Affirmed of being called by God, committed to Christ, and dedicated to His commission, we strive to become fully, “Titus” women as written in Titus 2:3-5.

Sick and Shut-in Care Ministry exist to assist in meeting the spiritual needs of the sick and shut-in, and provide services on behalf of the Pastors and the membership of Mt. Pleasant for home and hospital visitation to the sick and shut in.

Deaconess Ministry. This ministry prepares the sacraments for communion each first Sunday. Deaconess keep the table replenished with the Sacraments and assist as directed by the pastor in administering the Holy Communion. Deaconess visit the sick and shut-in and assist the pastor in serving the Holy Communion. Greeters Ministry

2007年9月3日 · Pastors enjoy a special privilege in visiting the sick: repeated participation in the Divine Service. For example, I made five shut-in and sick visits this past Friday. At each juncture, I said Mass and partook in the Holy Eucharist with the person I was ministering to.

The primary purpose of the New Beginnings Christian Fellowship Church Deaconess Board is to provide support, assistance and continuing care to the members of the congregation and community; visit the sick and bereaved; to serve the congregation; support the vision of our Pastor while edifying the Kingdom of God.
