Igor, also known as the Master by his servants, is one of the two overarching protagonists (alongside his creator Philemon) of the Persona series. He is a mysterious, long-nosed man and the owner of the Velvet Room, a dimension that exists between consciousness and subconsciousness.

Igor is some sort of artificial human esque existence, who was made by the master of the Velvet Room to service guests. After the events of Persona 2, Philemon is forced to fade into the shadows to prevent his polar opposite from destroying the world, again, making Igor the pseudo master of the room.
