2021年7月30日 · 1.idrive controller does not behave as it shoult. it spins relatively freely, not much resistance( when i had ccc it had resistance and it stopped rotating when you cannnot scroll anymore) i have full funcionality in climate basic control - and in obc menu,but otherwise it does not work as expected.

2013年10月31日 · iDrive reads the tags in the song files, so you need to be sure the tags in the files are correct. To test this, in iTunes, right-click on a song from an album that is not showing in iDrive, click 'get info', click the 'Info' tab and make sure that the Name, Artist, Album Artist, Album and Genre fields have the correct information.

2015年10月13日 · I replaced the IDrive Controller with actually a newer version as witnessed by additional wiring on the exterior of the BMW OEM Controller. At first the new Controller seemed "sluggish and confused." By 10 minutes of gently giving each command time to process and finish the command, it worked well.

2012年3月1日 · I've been pleasantly surprised by the ease of iDrive after reading the horror stories and reviews complaining of it's complexity. I think the controller is far less distracting than a touch screen - feeling the clicks when turning and memorizing the quick access buttons around the controller allow for using the system with minimal looking.

2022年3月5日 · This isn’t the latest iDrive System, this is a NBTevo iDrive 5/6 unit, the latest version now is iDrive 8. In the video you retrofit a Europe NBTevo iDrive 5/6 radio into a USA/Canada vehicle, you won’t be able to use Sirius XM or onboard BMW Navigation doing this. Your radio doesn’t have Sirius XM or GPS ports on the back of the radio.
