Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India has established ‘MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC)’ to systematically foster the culture of Innovation amongst all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

In the year 2018, the Ministry of Education (MoE) through MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC) launched the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) program in collaboration with AICTE for Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to systematically foster the culture of innovation and start-up ecosystem in education institutions.

IISc Innovation Council (IIC) is setup along the lines of Institution’s Innovation Council, which is an initiative of Ministry of Education (MoE) in collaboration with AICTE for implementation of National Innovation & Startup Policy (NISP) via a Digital platform.

Chandigarh Engineering College-CGC, Landran, Mohali’s Institution Innovation Council (CEC-CGC IIC) was established in 2019 under Ministry of Education (MoE) -Innovation Cell (MIC), Govt. of India.
