2021年11月19日 · I love Delco stuff, but the starters they used as OEM on the GM 5.7 and IH 6.9 Diesels... they just weren’t reliable for some reason. By time the first generation 7.3 came out, Mitsubishi had to come to the rescue, then became the standard replacement through service parts for the 6.9 .

2025年3月10日 · The 826 model number no doubt came about because IH marketing had painted themselves into yet another corner. No numbers between 7 and 8. They could have renumbered the 856 to 956, but it was a very popular, established model, and 956 sounds awkward, as does 1056. Apparently 956 and 1056 sounds less awkward to the German ear.
