2023年4月23日 · If we were to build a new long-range, bolt-action varmint rifle it would probably be a 22 BRA, essentially a 22 BR with 40° shoulder. That gives you a very stable cartridge with a bit more capacity. The 22 BRA retains a longer neck compare to the 22 Dasher, which is also an excellent cartridge — versatile and accurate.

2019年3月5日 · This past weekend I got the 22 BRA out to do some final fine tuning on seating depth then reseated 5 rounds at the best seating depth and put 5 down for the final test for confirmation. Testing was done at 600 yards. Here’s the confirmation group seated at 1.757 using a 2” dot as that little 1” was a bit tough seeing. That is impressive.

2023年3月19日 · Never owned a 22BRA, I’ve owned two 22BR rifles and enjoyed them both. Very capable cartridge. 1-8 for the bullet weight you mention. Brass is easy to get, barrel life is decent, certainly more than a 22 creed if that matters to you, very accurate and it’s just cool.

2022年3月19日 · I have a 22gt, and run it at what appears lower psi (alpha hides everything) at 3100 w/ 90 atips and H4350 from a 26" 219 bore barrel. If I could get similar performance with 6-8% less powder I may go that route next barrel. Nice job color coordinating everything! I just ordered parts for a 22 creed.
