Option 2 Go to the mod folder, copy all the words onto a USB drive or something, same with worlds if your wanting to keep them.

I have been using Curseforge for MC mods for about 2 years now on 3 different computers and I've never gotten a virus from it. Curseforge is 99% safe, just avoid some mods that take you to external websites, if they do I'd only trust Github.

Option B: Use CurseForge to download modpacks (that setting is still useful), but have another launcher do the day-to-day launching.

At this point I'm just tired of CurseForge constantly being bought & sold and whatever company buys them makes them trash the app and code a new one. I think Overwolf did something similar (since the twitch app was pretty dogshit lol), but the current CF App to me feels like a refined version of the Curse App beta that started it all.

Edit: I found the solution, sharing in case it helps anyone: Open MultiMC Settings>MultiMC>Features>Update Channel Change from "Stable" to "Development" Relaunch MultiMC and Update Go you "Add Instance", there should be a new "CurseForge" tab
