Your best shot, in lieu of finding out if your keyboard has a proper key combo for this, is probably to use a program such as AutoHotkey to assign a key combination as a hotkey for the Home and End keys. Home is Fn ←. End is Fn →. Page Up is Fn ↑. Page Down is Fn ↓. Forward Delete is Fn delete. Insert is Fn return *2. They used to label these on older MacBooks/PowerBooks.

2021年10月18日 · ON my keyboard it's a little padlock icon on the ESC button: Hit "Fn - ESC" and it will toggle and the home and end keys will work. It will also set all the F1-F12 keys to need "Fn - F11" for example to execute the F11 key. This alos fixes print screen on my keyboard.

The "end" button is even weirder - if I hit either "end" or "control end," I get the save menu in both Word and Outlook, but can't get to the end of a line or of the document or inbox.

2020年7月29日 · But in terms of a fix, this isn't something that can be fixed with a driver because the Fn key itself actually isn't seen by the OS; it's only seen by the system firmware, and it simply results in a different keyboard scan code being passed up to the OS when you press the next key (or results in a function handled entirely by system firmware).

2023年11月25日 · ok i think i figured it out. i must have turned on caret browsing and that seems to affect the home and end keys. i found an article on the issues and one test was to tap f7 and see if the keys started working and the did. thanks all for the ideas.
