I have run activity monitor and I find 3-4 processes that prevent it from sleeping: powerd hidd AddressBookSourceSynch I have tried stopping the processes, but they restart themselves. I have read that hidd is responsible for managing the keyboard, mouse etc.. powerd is a power management daemon.
