2021年11月12日 · It was a feature during the time when I was thinking about buying the game (I tried the game during free weekend) and later, after I already bought and played the game for some time, it got removed. Like I said nothing has been removed from the game. Body timer can still be set to 5 minutes like always. But please continue your drama folks.

2022年3月3日 · The game has a setting called “Dead Body Despawn Delay”. It has a slider, and bodies can be visible from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. When you turn this slider up, nothing actually changes. The bodies will disappear if you simply turn around for ~20 seconds, even if you just barely take the body out of your FOV.

If that's due to engine limitations or something I get it, but if it's something they could do I envision your character gripping wounds, maybe even a QuickTime event where you cover the lethal gunshot wound with your hand.

2021年2月22日 · You're better off that way to be honest, the game has pretty poor optimization (granted it's early access) so most players minimize that since it can have a pretty high impact on maintaining a good framerate. FYI - Dead vehicles should never despawn. Dead players, its a coin toss on when they should despawn.

OP im not sure if youre aware, but devs made a change so bodies not in your FOV would disappear very rapidly, regardless of your settings. Reasoning was for performance.
