Protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type C (PTPRC or CD45)
The leucocyte common antigen, protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type C (PTPRC), also known as CD45, is a transmembrane glycoprotein, expressed on almost all haematopoietic cells except for mature erythrocytes, and is an essential regulator of T ...

CD45 in human physiology and clinical medicine
2018年4月1日 · CD45 is an evolutionary highly conserved receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase exclusively expressed on all nucleated cells of the hematopoietic system. It is characterized by the expression of several isoforms, specific to a certain cell type and the developmental or activation status of the cell.
Structural and functional analysis of the human CD45 gene
The leucocyte common antigen (CD45) is an abundant glycoprotein expressed exclusively on the surface of all leucocytes and their progenitors. 1 CD45 expression appears at one of the earliest stages of haematopoietic development, suggesting that it plays a central role in the generation of a functional immune system.
Differential Regulation of CD45 Expression on Granulocytes, …
CD45 is a transmembrane glycoprotein and protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed on the surface of all nucleated hematopoietic cells. While there is increasing evidence demonstrating the involvement of CD45 in immune system regulation, no information on CD45 expression in inflammation and sepsis is currently available.
Altered CD45 expression and disease: Trends in Immunology
The extracellular domain of CD45 is highly polymorphic in all vertebrates. Importantly, human polymorphic variants that alter CD45 isoform expression are associated with autoimmune and infectious diseases, establishing CD45 as an important immunomodulator with a significant influence on disease burden.

Identification of hematopoietic-specific regulatory elements from …
Here we report that the protein tyrosine phosphatase CD45 is an ideal candidate gene on which to base a hematopoietic reporter. CD45 regulatory elements were discovered by analyzing transcription factor chromatin occupancy (ChIP-seq) and promoter nuclease sensitivity (DNase-seq) to identify minimally sufficient sequences required for expression.
