2022年6月23日 · I’ve only recently started caring about and collecting fitted hats and am wondering if anyone has tips on bending the brim. I’ve seen a couple different techniques online, but the one I’ve been using is just grabbing the corners in the brim right where it connects to the hat and sort of rolling it back and forth.

2022年10月20日 · The fact you said steaming a brim help hold the curve tells me you know nothing about curving a hat. When u steam a hat it actually causes the brim not to hold the curve lol. Do whatever you want your replying to my comment. When u steam a brim, and curve it, as it drys out it will slowly go back to straighten out.

Next, lay the hat brim down on the ironing board. Cover as much of the brim as you can with your hand towel such that everything remains smooth. Iron the brim flat.

2022年5月23日 · The material the brim is made of has a lot to do with holding a curve. Some materials are softer and can't hold a curve as well as a harder brim. Check out Dre in the 616 (link below). He has a lot of toturials and a video where he explains the different materials used for the brim. There's differences in the manufacturing from factory to factory.

It looks a lot better in me that way, flat or slightly downturned. I can steam the brim and get it to straighten out over my face, but it reverts back after a few hours.

2022年9月2日 · Nonetheless, I tried the ALZCap and the Ciele CRWCap SC, and both kept their brim up very securely. The same didn't happen with the Ciele GOCap SC. That one didn't keep the brim up. I also tried the VAGA Feather Racing Cap (kept the brim up) and the VAGA Club Cap (did not keep the brim up securely - it was always falling).
