Star HAT-P-26 is a main sequence star that fuses hydrogen atoms into helium. It is approximately 80 % of the size of Sun and temperature on its surface is around 5079 K (4806 °C), which is about 88 % of Sun's temperature.
detailed atmospheric study of the transiting Neptune-mass exoplanet HAT-P-26b. We detected prominent H 2O absorption bands with a maximum base-to-peak amplitude of 525 parts per million in the transmission spectrum. Using the water abundance as a proxy for metallicity, we measured HAT-P-26b’s atmospheric heavy element content (4:8þ21:5 4:0 ...

HAT-P-26b: A LOW-DENSITY NEPTUNE-MASS PLANET …
2011年1月31日 · HAT-P-26b is the fourth Neptune-mass transiting planet discovered to date. It has a mass that is comparable to those of Neptune and Uranus, and slightly smaller than those of the other transiting Super-Neptunes, but a radius that is ∼65% larger than those of Neptune and Uranus, and also larger than those of the other transiting Super-Neptunes.
