It is more scary what is allowed.... Taking slaves is Halal. Beating your wife is Halal. Killing a Kafir is Halal. Raping a Kafir sex slave is Halal.

It is not haram to have thoughts. It is haram to engage in sinful actions. We are all human and imperfect and we have our weaknesses. Allah is most merciful, such sins can be forgiven especially if we are sincere in our repentance More important, however, it is shirk to make halal what Allah made haram. Or to make haram what Allah made halal.
