2014年7月23日 · I have a hangboard and I've started getting serious on it, following some of the training principles outlined here. I'm hangboarding twice a week in addition to 2-3 days of climbing, doing 6 sets of five 10 second hangs with 5 second rests.

2017年2月20日 · I mounted the hangboard to a 2x10 that covered the width of my doorway, then screwed 5 to 6 bike rack hooks to the top of the 2x10. You can then use the pull up bar on its own or hang the board on the bar.

Hangboard-only training can still be reasonably effective if you are in a situation where that is all you have access to. But if you can incorporate hangboard training with on the wall training, that is better. The other situation where you might train only on the hangboard is as a supplement when you are climbing outside a lot.
