Eight generations of the four-door, five-seat large sedan – but no wagon – would culminate in the most powerful passenger car ever made in Australia, the GTS 30TH Edition at $95,590 offering 430kW/740Nm. Its 2017 swansong was the GTS R W1, which made an incredible 474kW/815Nm from a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine.
