Feb 3, 2010 · The Hmmwv use stiffer springs for pay load, which means pain in ass ride. The H1 frame is not reinforced to allow for deformation in a wreck. The Hmmwv has extra plates bolted to the frame to help with payload. Which will not bend as easy in a wreck. The H1 body is the same as the Hmmwv. But does not have the reinforcements of the hmmwv.

I'll be curious to hear what the chosen course of action was, and what was the result how much antifreeze did you put in what was the coolant protection level that resulted?

Jun 3, 2017 · The 4L80 bolts right up. Heck, put a twin turbo setup on it to get that cool pop off valve noise when you are sitting at a red light next to a Ferrari. They LOVE to be embarrased by a sleeper like an HMMWV. Of course racing, and driving an off-road only HMMWV on the street would be WRONG. So don't do that.

Oct 25, 2021 · I ran these for a bit on the rear of my HMMWV and they were a little soft. Nice, but ride height was a bit low with a spring length that still allowed full compression without coil bind. I don't think you'll have an issue with the 0.81 wire springs. I just installed some ram 0.81 wire springs in the front of my HMMWV and so far really like them.
